Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2008 (SSFF & Asia 2008) "STOP! Global Warming Competition Exhibition"
Omotesando Hills, designed to integrate with the picturesque landscape and environment of Omotesando, opened in February 2006. Since its opening, it has sent out information and ideas regarding environmental problems through various activities, such as making donations to the Midori-no Tokyo Bokin (Green Tokyo Fundraising Campaign) and holding events including Mirey Hiroshi's "100 UMBRELLAS". In June, which is designated as Environment Month, they are holding various events in their efforts to address the difficult issue of environmental problems.
The first of these events is the "STOP! Global Warming Competition", a newly established awards category in SSFF & Asia 2008. Some of the best films on the theme of global-warming that have been selected from over 300 films submitted from around the world will be shown on June 7 (Saturday) and 8 (Sunday) in Space〔O:〕located on the B3 level of the main building.
