Kentaro Otani
Kentaro Otani

Born 1965 in Kyoto, Japan. He studied at Tama University of Fine Arts, Art Department, and joined film production study society and numerous 8 mm films. "Ao Midori" (1988) was selected for 1988 Pia Film Festival, and "Watashi to tannin ni natta kare" won three awards at 1991 Pia Film Festival. In 1999, his debut feature film "Avec Mon Mari" was released in theaters, and won Best New Director at Yokohama Film Festival. His next work "Travail" (2002) won Best Script along with 3 other awards at 2002 Yokohama Film Festival, Best Feature Film at Bangkok Film Festival , and several other awards. He has also directed "Yaku san-ju no uso"(2003), and also "Nana" (2005), which is based on a comic book by Ai Yazawa. Along with its theme song, "Nana" caused a stir and became a bit hit. In 2006, he directed "Rough" and "Nana 2".

Sisyu
Sisyu

Sisyu began writing from the age of 6. She believes in the power of expression through written words and hopes to one day convey this to the world. Her goal is to work as a calligrapher in Hollywood movies with her lettering.

Shinobu Terajima
Shinobu Terajima

Born December 28, 1972, in Kyoto, Japan. Her father is the Kabuki actor Kikugoro Onoe, who is also a living national treasure, and her mother is actress Junko Fujii. Her younger brother, Kikunosuke Onoe is also a Kabuki actor. Brought up in such environment, she started acting in theaters and TV dramas when she was a university student. She joined Bungaku-za in 1992, but left in 1996. In 2003, she starred in "Akame shijuya taki shinju misui" and "Vibrator" and won over 10 film awards within Japan and overseas. Her other works include "Tokyo Tower" (2005), "Yawarakai seikatsu" (2005), and "Ai no rukeichi" (2007). In theatre, she won The Asahi Performing Arts Award and Best Actress for Yomiuri Theater Awards in "Kaku Onnna" (2006). From August 2007, she’ll be starring in play, "Merchant of Venice" directed by Gregory Doran.

Robin Mallick
Robin Mallick

Robin Mallick was born in Wuppertal, Germany in 1970 of German and Indian parents. He studied at the University of Passau, Germany where he studied languages, economics and cultural studies specializing in Spain and Latin America. He later became the coordinator of the German Festival in India which was jointly organised in Munich and New Delhi and had events in 30 cities throughout India. Since 2000 he has been festival director at the Filmfest Dresden - International Short Film Festival which offers the best funded short film competitions across Europe. In addition, since 2002 he has been General Secretary of the European Coordination of Film Festivals based in Brussels, Belgium which is a network of some 235 festivals. Moreover, he has initiated several film exchange projects between Germany and partner cities as well as institutions in countries such as Canada, Estonia, Japan, United Kingdom and Poland.

Yoo Ji-Tae
Ji-Tae Yoo

Ji-Tae Yoo was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1976. He starred in "Old Boy" which won the 2004 Cannes Film Festival Grand Prize. He has acted for numerous renowned Korean directors like Hong Sang-Soo, Park Chan-Wook, Hur Jin-Ho, Kim Jeong-Kwon and Kim Seong-Ho, in celebrated works including "Bye June" (1998), "Attack the Gas Station" (1999), "Ditto" (2000), "One Fine Spring Day" (2001), "Natural City" (2002), "Into the Mirror" (2003), "Woman is the Future of Man" (2004), "Antarctic Journal" (2005), "Running Wild" (2005), "Trace of Love" (2006), and "Hwang Jin Yi" (2007).

He has also directed two short films : "The Bike Boy" (2003) and "How does the blind dream" (2005)
